Environment variables in config file
In order to make it easier to share config files across users with different config options (e.g. profiles, instance keys, dataset paths), we allow users to include Bash-style environment variables in the config file. For example, if you define the environment variable MY_KEY=miguel-key-eu-west-1, you can use it in the config file as:
nimbo-config.yml
1
...
2
instance_key: ${MY_KEY}
3
...
Copied!
If you want to add a default value in case the environment variable is not defined, use ${MY_KEY|some-default} instead.
